Media Alert: Maryland's New Testing Commission to Hold First Meeting on Nov. 17

Baltimore, MD (November 16, 2015)

The first meeting of the Commission to Review the Use of Assessments and Testing in Maryland Public Schools will be held on Tuesday, November 17,  at the Anne Arundel County Public Schools Board of Education Offices.

The 2015 Maryland General Assembly enacted House Bill 452/Chapter 421 establishing the Commission, and Governor Hogan signed the bill into law.  The Commission is to make recommendations regarding how local school systems and the State can improve the process for administering local, State and federally mandated assessments.
