Media Alert: Final State Superintendent Search Forum Is Rescheduled

Forum Set for Baltimore on Thursday; Online Survey Continues

Baltimore, MD (February 2, 2016)

The Maryland State Board of Education has rescheduled the Baltimore forum planned to gather public input regarding the next State Superintendent.

The Central Region forum will be held at Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School in Baltimore at 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 4.

Working with search firm Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates (HYA), the special forums scheduled by the State Board will be used to help identify the characteristics necessary to help lead the State’s education system.  The forums, facilitated by a member of HYA, are planned for locations throughout the State.

In addition, an online survey remains available to collect information.  The public can access the survey at www.ecrasurvey.com/MSDE.
